7 Habits of Highly Effective Teenagers Program

In a world where the pressures are substantial and where even adults find it difficult to make correct choices, it is important that we care for and work with our teenagers and young adults to help their development towards taking responsibility for their lives. Our signature course, 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, can provide teenagers with all of the skills they need to develop into responsible young adults.

Oaktree takes pride in working with many schools and teenagers throughout Ireland to provide programmes, both individual and group, for young adults to help them on thier journey to maturity in Ireland today.

Oaktree has been working with schools throughout the country to bring Personal Development Seminars and Programmes to their students. These courses have proven to be very effective and very popular with students and teachers alike.

The signature course is called:

7 Habits of Highly Effective teenagers

The course involves a workshop style programme tailored for every class to maximise the effectiveness for the students involved.

I have been working on all of the habits and have already seen results. I now have better relationships, make better decisions, am more accepting of people, have a more balanced lifestyle, and am overall happier. Probably my favorite habit is #1: Be Proactive. I play a lot of basketball, volleyball, and tennis. Before I read this book, I found it easy to get SO mad when I made a stupid mistake. Then I would play poorly because I was still mad about that one mistake. Now I can just put it behind me and go on with the game.

The workshop taught me to organize, manage my time effectively, and work toward a goal. The workshop leader discussed how teens can accept responsibility for their actions by being proactive. I found this interesting because it shows how it can be easier for teens to walk away from tough situations. The objective of the workshop was to get teens to start thinking now about the future and to cooperate and learn from others. I know I will definitely start thinking more about my future. I would encourage other students to go to this workshop because it can help you organize your life. Too many teens take the wrong path with alcohol and drugs. I don't want to be just another one of those teens.
